Sharon Maher Creative Bursary awarded for 25/26

Robinstown student Ruby O Callaghan has been awarded the Sharon Maher Creative Bursary for 2025/6.

The Sharon Maher Creative Bursary is as initiative funded by the Maher Family and administered by Louth and Meath Education and Training Board.

The Award is named in memory of well-loved Navan artist and Coordinator of Navan Youthreach Sharon Maher and is designed to support one deserving young student, resident in County Meath, who is undertaking year one of an eligible Third Level course in the creative arts.

This Bursary is intended to help finance the recipient’s third level expenses for year one of that Student’s third-level undergraduate course by €1,000. This bursary is very generously funded by the Maher family and administered by LMETB.

The award ceremony took place at the Sharon Maher Memorial Garden in Navan Youthreach and was attended by members of the Maher family, members of senior management of LMETB and staff and friends from Navan Youthreach.
