Louth and Meath Education and Training Board (LMETB) is pleased to inform community groups acrossCounty Louth and County Meath that applications are now open for theAutumn 2026 term of theCommunity Education Programme.
Community Education offers a wide range of learning opportunities that support lifelong learning, personal development, and social inclusion. LMETB works in partnership with community groups to respond to local learning needs and to support individuals in reaching their potential.
The Autumn 2026 programme includes subject areas such as arts and crafts, health and well‑being, horticulture, IT skills, and more.
Please ensure you read the information below carefully, as application arrangements differ between Louth and Meath.
County Louth Applicants
The application process is straightforward and completed online.
Louth Community Education Application Form
Important Information – Louth
· Each group may submit a maximum of two applications.
- Courses are offered subject to tutor availability and available resources.
- Applicants should review the Louth Community Education Guidelines before submitting an application.
County Meath Applicants – Important Notice
This is the only application round that will open in 2026 for Meath‑based groups.
This is a one‑off opportunity and will allow LMETB to plan and schedule courses for the full academic year.
Please ensure all intended applications are submitted during this round.
Meath Community Education Application Form
Important Information – Meath
· Each group may submit a maximum of six applications for the academic year.
· A separate application form must be completed for each course.
- Courses are subject to tutor availability, and provision may be limited in some areas.
- Applicants should review the Meath Community Education Guidelines and course listings for 2026 before applying.
Closing Date
The deadline for applications for both counties is
5.00pm on Friday, 31 August 2026.
