Students at Beaufort College took home the Best Creativity Award at An Taisce’s Green-Schools Daily Swaps Challenge. Their entry featured graphic design, social media content, murals, a clothing donation boutique, free reusable water bottles, and a workshop with Concern Worldwide.

The Daily Swaps challenge held 9–13 March, encouraged students to adopt small eco-friendly habits – such as taking shorter showers or boiling only the amount of water needed in the kettle. Schools from 18 counties collectively logged nearly 23,000 daily swaps. The programme, supported by Uisce Éireann, aims to highlight the link between everyday water and energy use as part of the Green-Schools Water Theme.
